Hybrid Shooting
This is a relatively new concept here in the north east but it has been around for a while in other places. What it means is that I capture both photography and videography on the day.
This way you’re saving on having 2 or 3 extra people at your wedding day, sometimes if you hire separate companies you could be hiring a team of 2 photographers and 2 videographers that’s 4 people with you all day, 4 people on morning in the prep room, 4 people capturing the service and then 4 meals to buy ha! This way it’s just me and my photography and videography skills.
This is a good way to look back on little bits of the day without having to go ahead with a videographer.
The pictures will always take priority but little snippets of video from the day are captured normally in few second bursts then put together to create a 4-6 minute highlight film of the day. Things like the aisle walks and first kisses will be shot with photography in mind first so these can’t be guaranteed.
I will state this will never take the place of hiring a separate full time video company, if you are wanting a full video production then I always advise on hiring a separate videographer and I can give plenty of recommendations for these.
There are 3 options to add film to your day
1. Highlight film 4-6 minutes only NO Full Service or Speeches or no audio recorded
2. Highlight Film 4-6 minutes Service and speeches recorded
3. Service and Speeches recorderd only
